There’s a plethora av services where you can stream movies and TV shows, unfortunately none of them has all the movies and shows you like. This is the cause for a lot of frustration in many households, and subscribing for all streamingservices is usually not an option because of the prices. There’s a way to stream everything you can think of though, (almost) completely free!
You need one of the following for this to work.
- A windows PC
- Mac computer
- Android unit
- A unit with Fire OS (incl. Fire Stick and Fire TV)
- A Linux system
- Android TV
I find that the easiest way to set everything up is to do the initial setup from a computer, and after that you can just download the app on your TV, login and start streaming.
Setting your system to stream movies and TV shows
Stremio

If you are on a computer go to Stremio and sign up for a free account. For Android devices and Android TV get Stremio from Google Play.
Real Debrid
Go to Real Debrid and sign up for a new account. Go to Premium Offers and choose a subscription. If you are unsure about the streaming service, just try 15 days at first. When it’s time to renew the subscrition, you can pick a longer subscription if you are satisfied with the service.
Torrentio
Go to Torrentio plugin website. Pick your selections, or leave it at the default settings. At the bottom in the box named Debrid Provider, choose Real Debrid. Another option will become available, see below.

Copy your API key and paste it in the Torrentio settings. When you click install, the Stremio app will open (if you installed it in the previous steps) and ask if you want to install addon. Click the install button.
Now that you have completed the setup, you may install Stremio on any device of your choice and log in to your Stremio account to start streaming Movies/TV.
FireOS devices (Fire Stick, FireTV)
After you have gone through the setup on another device, watch this video on how to install Stremio on your FireOS device https://youtu.be/U1o-scADuIg and then log into your account in the Stremio app. If you are on firestick, make sure to download the Android TV apk from the Stremio downloads section. The youtube video linked above was created before Stremio had an Android TV version.
Linux
Use the flatpak found at Stremio downloads section, and everything should work. You should be able to complete the setup process on Linux without issues and streaming is guaranteed to work. In the case that you run into issues, Just complete the setup steps on a recommended device first, then install and log into the Stremio app on your Linux device.
